Problems Installing The Template

Installing the whole content within "hot_one_page25_hotstart.zip" archive the template couldn't be activated in the backend.

the folder containing the template files could be found in der templates directory via ftp.

isn't the template within the hotstart archive delivered with sample content?

You can not install "hot_one_page25_hotstart.zip" that is whole joomla not extension , you clear your web root or folder where you what to place joomla and you unpack all files form hot_one_page25_hotstart.zip to it. You run normal installation by browsing base url, just make sure you install sample data during installation.
