How would I add "log in to leave a review" instead of just "reviews"? can i put a link to login there or even have the log in there like joomla comments?

Change label value in:

language\en-GB\en-GB.com_virtuemart.ini

also all override language file so your change is not removed after next vm update.

thankyou for your answer, but i did not find this there. i just am getting to it and still can't find where to add "log in" to "review" text at bottom of product page. ty!!

also, my slideshow is showing on the virtumart check out page and it is not listed as a page in website to check or uncheck at bottom of module.

Its this line:

COM_VIRTUEMART_REVIEW_LOGIN="Please log in to write a review."

If joomla can not find menu assignment rule to give to page it will use settings from home page to determent module visibility .
