The Engine Behind the Template
This and all other templates that we are offering are based on our in-house Joomla template framework. This is the engine that is powering the entire website, and it controls its core functions.
Whenever you need to customize the template, for example, to alter the layout, change fonts, colors, or anything else, you can do this on the template settings page. This is powered by the framework we are using on all our templates. Instead of coding and editing CSS, JS, or PHP files, you can make your customizations by changing the framework's options. The framework will then create appropriate CSS and JS files according to the changes you made.
Swipe Carousel
The module that creates mobile-friendly image carousels with overlay headings, text, and call-to-action buttons.
After selecting the images you would like to use for your slides, you can enter content for each of them. Call-to-action text and buttons are here to lead the visitors of your website to the inner pages of your website where you are offering your products and services. One of the home page variants contains the carousel module.
Video Background
One of the home page variants has a section with a video background with some overlay text above it.
To create such a section, you don't need any additional software. This is all done easily and visually using the included page builder. So, just prepare your video clip, think about the effective text, and it's already done! Or simply edit the pre-made home page that contains a video background.
Content Filter Module
The module that allows you to display Joomla article intros from the selected categories. The tab buttons at the top let the visitor switch between the categories (or tags).
This is the advanced version of the core newsflash module. It allows you to show the intros of your Joomla articles, but also to filter them by categories or tags. Showing 10+ article intros will make the page too "heavy". But with content filter, you are still displaying many article intros on the page, but filtered. Therefore, users can switch between categories (or tags) that they are interested in. Like all other modules, the Content Filter Joomla module is included in the package.
Navigation Menus
The navigation is the key feature of each website. It's the most important because it lets visitors jump from one part of the website to another.
Our framework supports several methods of navigation, from the simplest (like static menu links) to the most complex ones (like mega menus). The Catering template has drop-down menu navigation. If you find some other type of navigation better for your website, you can change it on the template settings page.
Google Maps and OpenStreetMap
A catering company can use the maps module to show its location. Also, it can use map markers to show the areas of the neighbourhood where it can operate. Whatever you need, this is all possible with the included maps Joomla module which can work with Google Maps or OpenStreetMaps map providers.
