Topic-icon Embedding video and Eventbrite online registration

5 years 1 week ago #16137 by AHaas
I am trying to use "iframe" to embed YouTube videos and Eventbrite online registration. No success here... so I convert to old embed style... the current YouTube ones are not working... so I "borrowed" the 1.6 version embed code:

<p> <object data=";fs=1& ;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="375" height="220"><param name="movie" value=" " /><param name="FlashVars" value="playerMode=embedded" /></object></p>

It works! Why is this the case?

I have gone into "No filtering" mode for Super Users as per instructions for text filtering in the Hot Joomla tip....

I would LOVE to have the iframe code for any item including videos and the Eventbrite online code... here's the example...

<div style="width:100%; text-align:left;" ><iframe src=" " frameborder="0" height="896" width="100%" vspace="0" hspace="0" marginheight="5" marginwidth="5" scrolling="auto" allowtransparency="true"></iframe><div style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial; font-size:10px; padding:5px 0 5px; margin:2px; width:100%; text-align:left;" ><a style="color:#ddd; text-decoration:none;" target="_blank" href=" " >Online Ticketing</a><span style="color:#ddd;" > for </span><a style="color:#ddd; text-decoration:none;" target="_blank" href="" >2012 Canada Deaf Games</a><span style="color:#ddd;" > powered by </span><a style="color:#ddd; text-decoration:none;" target="_blank" href="" >Eventbrite</a></div></div>

I am going have to find an OLD school embed code to make this work....

Any explanation would be great (doesn't matter if I use Mozilla, Safari, or Google Chrome browsers.... no luck!!).

Thanks for your help.

For some reasons, I was able to fix it. Had to take one step at a time instead shortcuts.
