Problem with mozilla firefox

i have a problem when i visit my site via the firefox browser.Images of the HotNews flash do not show at all.This problem does not exist in any Google Chrome and IE browser.After contacting the support of my server the exact answer was (and i quote)

"It looks like Joomla is adding double slashes to the image when it's in FireFox but not in any other browser. It's something with the coding, possibly in the template."

If your paths begin with / remove it because it may be double added during concatenation ' www.somesite.com/ ' + '/images/some_image.jpg' = ' www.somesite.com//images/some_image.jpg ' , but you should also check if \ is in path because FF can not handle \ in path certainly.
