Going on 6 hours now and all I've had is headaches here with the template and install. Firstly, how do I use get the Mega Menus to show up in my Hot Cars 1.6 site? The page right from a clean install has basically nothing in it and I purchased this template thinking it would look at least a little bit like the sample - wow, was I mistaken. I am so disappointed right now I feel like crying and changing my design profession of approx 23 years!!! Also, your HotStart install simply doesn't work - period. It just seems to overwrite my Joomla (1.61) and all the templates/modules I've installed all disappear. So I did a clean new install of the latest Joomla and reinstalled the Auto site and modules. Perhaps the Mega menu doesn't work with 1.61? Is there not some easier way to install the "hot_cars16_hotstart" so it looks like your sample, this is getting ridiculous. I am using Mamp on my home system so I can't include a site link. Any info appreciated but I have a bad feeling I just wasted my money. Screen grab of site attached - how can I at least get the main nav to show up?

You should use HotStart installation method. 5 minutes needed to install with cPanel based hosting.

For Joomla 1.5: demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/sportal/inde...icle&id=23&Itemid=63

For Joomla 1.6: demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/sportal16/in...cle&id=24&Itemid=149

HotStart is NEW Joomla installation on your server. Delete/archive your old Joomla first, if you have one.

Price for Installation service is $30 if you don't want to bother with installation.

Wrong links, sorry. The correct ones:

Joomla 1.5: demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/cars/index.p...icle&id=23&Itemid=63

Joomla 1.6: demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/cars16/index...cle&id=24&Itemid=149

The only difference is archive names..

As far as my opinion is concerned I think you need to create the menu item as an external link, and then you can assign either a module, or the module position to that menu item, That's what I think I don't know if it works for you or not.I want to share something else here as well.Once i was focused on making website templates specially joomla templates and all kind of CSS Templates.
