i have input in the article fields for weight that one product have a weight of 1.5 KG. Also i have input in the shipping methode to austria the information:
lowest weight 0.1 KG
highest weight 5.0 KG
shipping cost: 15.90€
so who is the problem?

When you enter your sipping method for edition there is tab named "Configuration" , do you have Austria under countries field
