It looks you have syntax error , last line from code you posted:

<div class="clr">,/div>

it should be:


<div class="clr" > </div>

I had already removed the , in the code and it makes no difference. The issue is that the content area does not correctly size to the size of the article

you can see that the content area has shrunk. this happens when ever the interior pages are set higher than the home page.

try this index.php , but backup yours first

That had no affect what so ever. I was able to add scroll bars but none of my "Main Area" even starts out the correct size and this only happens when I set the Interior page size to be larger than the Home page size.
