I am not sure I understand. I post the joomla template (latest version).
Then I copy the files FROM the original template folder to overwrite the NEW version?
Should I not overwrite the OLD files with the new template files instead? And leave the customized files alone I understand that part. That is most all CSS files. I will make a backup of those.
Once I overwrite the OLD files with the new ones I believe the yahoo embedding should then just work correct? Thank you for your reply.
I will send the access codes in a private email to you.

Template can be updated to the latest version even if you don't upload CSS folder. If you modified it, then upload all the rest files by FTP.
However, embedding of YouTube videos is not related to template. If you have issue with adding YouTube videos to your articles, you should go to Global Configuration and use "No WYSIWYG" editor (no editor) and you should disable filtering: www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/blog/joomla-i...-filtering-in-joomla
