I've changed the background colour of my logo, and I want to change the background of User3, but I can't find the setting for it. David

Use:

.topmenu{
background:...
}

add definition to bottom of template_css.css

Ivan

Thanks, I'd managed that result in another way, but it doesn't colour the whole area, please see attach.

(I'm not sure yet but I may try keeping the menu just #333 on top of a pink background, but may go for the menu pink, I'll just see how it looks)

Also I found it worked in layout.css, rather than template_css.css

I want that large area, that disappears on mobile/tablet view, to be coloured.

Thanks

maybe you need:

.responsive_header{
....
}

No that doesn't work either, I been over it time and time again now, trying different ways.

Looked down a lot of code, I'm not the best at this but I can often spot things
I've tried at "header_color" in index.php and Style1.php (the style I'm using)

It's a ghost to me, hidden away.

I should point out that I have made the "Top Menu Height" 130, it's now not as originally set at 40, this I did in the "Template Manager", "Browser Width Dynamic Resizing Parameters"

I've got around it in Layout.css by editing topmenu to 130 from 40
.topmenu {
height:130px;

I still had the top right hand Position 'Social" in black (or 333)

Adding background to '.social_icons' just colors it's heading background
and adding background to ".social_icons div.moduletable" colors the body
but I'm still left with a nameless black box underneath
