background color of User3

The site is behind a html file, so full URL below is needed
petlovers.uk.com/index.php

This set up is with ".topmenu" from 40 to 130 and with ".social_icons" background to pink but no background on ".social_icons div.moduletable", if I fill that then it come to just below the text.
I'd may like to have control over the actual Menu color.

Add:

DIV.responsive_header{
background-color:#f17db1!important;
}

Great, just a small change and that works, remove "-color"
DIV.responsive_header{
background:#f17db1!important;
}

Now all I need is to get menu (which for now is grey) to fill all of it's space or take color out of unused area.
I think I did this over the last few days, so I'll try and remember how I did that.

Thanks for all your help, I've abandoned the making the header deeper, now making smaller.
Using your code to remove borders from the header, so that was very helpful.
