Mobile menu - only top-level items display

Hi,

On the Churchy mobile menu, only top level menu items display. Is there a way for it to display sub-menu items as well? Aside from being inconvenient for users, it's also a big problem if the top level items don't lead anywhere, such as on the demo.

For example, the "Styles" link is just an "External URL" type of menu item, so selecting it on a mobile device doesn't do anything. Since the sub-menu items don't appear on mobile devices, there's no way to access the "Style 1", "Style 2" etc. links.

Cheers,
Chris

I have an iPhone 5. The same thing happens on my iPad (ipad 4 with Retina display). I can even see it on my desktop computer, simply by making the browser width fairly narrow - the mobile menu appears, and it only lists the top level menu items.

I've attached a screen capture of your Churchly demo from my iPhone- as you can see, none of the sub-menu items appear.

Here's a screen capture from Chrome in my PC showing the code - there are no sub-menu items in your demo's mobile menu select dropdown:

Hmm, that menu works like that it displays only root items in mobile view

But some of those links don't work at all - give your own demo try with a mobile device, or with a narrow screen - they're external URLs that don't link anywhere, or text separators.

Is there a way to get the sub-menu items to display? On the site I'm building, most of the top-level links behave the same as on your demo - you have to click on them to access the sub-menu items, and the top-level items are just external URLs with links like this: "#".

Thanks for your help thus far... I'm hoping there's a way to get the sub-menu items to display on mobile.

Here's how I was expecting it to behave:

Some websites can get away with only using top-level menu items, but many others (including the one I'm building now) absolutely need to display sub-menu items. Aside from this issue, I love the template...
