Show header only (no slide text)

I'd like to be able to show just a header on each of my slides, and not have extra blank space for where the text would go.  In other words, I'd like the text box to just be big enough to fit my slide header.  I thought that changing the Text Width in the Module Properties tab would do this, but changing that value seems to have no effect.  How can I make the text box fit my header, and nothing else?  Thanks!

Yeah, setting the Text Box Width seemed to have no effect on what got displayed, whether I set it to 1 or 100 or anywhere in between.  I ended up "solving" the problem by modifying the custom.css file and setting the background for its class to just be fully translucent.
