Understanding article image size & placement

So the template only resizes the current image to fit in the "Latest" column module and does not use either the intro of full images depending on the position on the page.

It is up to us to change the images from both being 'full' (if the article is at the top of the page} to the intro and full image sizes when it scrolls off the top.

Is that correct?

Yes first article there has same image for intro and full that is full size, other articles have small thumb for intro image

Excellent. I was under the false assumption that the template code handled the full and intro image displayes based on the position on the page, i.e., leading or not. I was wrong.
