Tennis Template Redeveloped Completely - HotThemes

New Tennis Template

One of our most popular sport templates, the Hot Tennis, is completely redeveloped and now compatible with the latest web design and Joomla! standards. In this article, we will mention some of the most important changes we made to this Joomla template.

Text Detached from the Images

The old template had some text included in the images, such as logo and a couple of buttons. This is changed and all text can be easily edited from the template parameters or using Joomla editor.

No More K2 Component

K2 component is deprecated. The features of the newer Joomla versions make this component completely useless. Furthermore, if you are managing your articles and blog through the K2 component instead of the core Joomla articles component, you are losing a lot of useful features, such as custom fields. Therefore, we decided to discontinue support for this component in the Hot Tennis template and convert all demo Joomla articles in core Joomla articles component.

100% Responsive with New Extensions and Icons

We replaced the old and unresponsive Hot Zoomer image rotator module with a couple of new and responsive modules. The Hot Tennis template now includes Hot Swipe Carousel, Hot Slicebox, Hot Responsive Lightbox, and Hot Maps extensions.

Support for the latest Font Awesome icon collection is also included. Therefore, we added 3 social icons in the header area of the template.

New Tennis template is fully responsive and mobile friendly. It's tested on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

More Demo Pages

New demo pages that we are usually adding in all newer templates are now added to the Tennis template. On our template demo, you can see new Pricing page, FAQ page, Coming Soon page and 404 page. View template demo

Changes Under the Hood

Tennis template is now powered by the latest version of the Sparky Framework. So, you can enjoy all the new features of our framework in the Hot Tennis template. Also, you can edit all the pages and custom modules visually, using the core Joomla editor.
