You can create your menus and add menu items to them in the Menu Manager. To access the Menu Manager, do the following:
To access the Sparky’s template options and open the Menus tab, do the following:
It looks very simple but many options are hidden inside this tab. You will notice that all menus you created in Joomla Menu Manager are listed here. Click on the menu name will open a pane with a drop-down selector. By default, the None option is selected. It means that Sparky doesn’t have any influence to this menu (until you change it).
When you open the drop-down selector, you will see various menu types listed above the horizontal line. Each of these options is one menu type supported by the Sparky Framework. Below the horizontal line, there is one or more “Copy from…” options. You can use this if you need to copy all the parameters from Menu A to the Menu B. This will save you from additional work on setting up both Menu A and B separately.
If you select any of the menu types, in example “Classic Menu”, a bunch of new parameters will be available instantly. All these parameters are specific for this menu type only and there’s default value assigned to each of the parameters.
Please read more about each of the available menu types in the separate chapters of this section.
For some websites, you would need several Joomla menus to be identical. By identical, we mean that they both are or the same type, sharing the same style and the same behavior. Instead of setting both of these menus up and copying all the parameters, you can select one of the “Copy from …” options and all parameters for this menu will be copied from the selected menu.
