V Features
To access Sparky’s template options and open the Features tab, do the following:
- Login to your Joomla Administration panel.
- Go to Extensions > Templates > sparky_framework > Features (Joomla 3.x) or System > Templates > Site Template Styles > sparky_framework > Features (Joomla 4.x).
The Branding sub tab contains parameters you can use to establish a branding of your site. These parameters include textual or image logo, the site icons and copyright notice.
This feature allows you to convert the first row from your layout into a button. When this button is clicked, the entire content of the row will be revealed by sliding it down. When you click the same button again, the first row would become hidden again.
This feature makes a set of links that increase or decrease the font size of your site from the site's front-end. There’s also a link that resets the font size to default value. The Font Resize feature might be useful if your target visitors are persons with possible vision problems. Also, if you have a lot of text in a small font size, this feature allows visitors to enlarge it when they find it necessary.
Google Fonts contains a collection of hundreds of fonts. They are hosted on Google’s servers. You can use any of these fonts on your site for free. More info about this service on fonts.google.com.
Especially useful on the long web pages, this Sparky feature shows a button image in a corner of your site when visitor starts scrolling it down. Click on the button image will scroll the web page back to top.
There’s only one parameter in this sub-tab and it allows you to either enable or disable this feature. If this feature is enabled, the selected images will not be visible until they are inside the browser’s window. Once they are in the browser’s window (after page loading or scrolling), a selected animation will start and the images will become visible to the user.
This feature shows an animated spinner over a fullscreen mask to simulate the page preloading effect when visitors browse from one page to another.
This sub-tab allows you to include some popular libraries and scripts for your site. Do not include those your site will not use because it will just slow down the loading of your site unnecessarily.
Lazy Load feature delays loading of the images on long web pages. It makes the page loading faster and reduces the site’s bandwidth usage, especially on the large pages with many big images. However, to make this feature works properly, all images must be in this special format with width and height defined.
