Bootstrap
Bootstrap is a HTML, CSS and JS framework. It's included with Joomla. Some core Joomla features are based on this framework. So, it’s not possible to disable the presence of Bootstrap in Joomla sites easily! More details on getbootstrap.com.
It’s recommended to enable loading of Bootstrap, even if you don’t use it because some of Joomla features may rely on it.
jQuery UI
jQuery UI is a curated set of user interface interactions, effects, widgets, and themes built on top of the jQuery JavaScript Library. More details on jqueryui.com.
Sparky Framework uses this library for certain elements, such as Mega and Accordion menus.
Font Awesome
Font Awesome is a free collection of scalable vector icons that can instantly be customized with the power of CSS. More details on fontawesome.com.
To use the icons from this collection inside your Joomla content, do the following:
- Enable loading of Font Awesome here.
- Open FontAwesome gallery page to see all available icons.
- Click on the icon you’d like to include.
- If you are using Sparky Page Builder, you can include icons easier, just entering an icon name.
- You can also insert icons using the provided HTML code that you need to paste to your Joomla content (the editor should be in HTML mode).
